Jay Magidson has been buying and selling fine art since 1980. The son of an art dealer, Jay has been surrounded by art since childhood. His experience includes: Art Director, New York Gallery, B.S. International Business, University of Copenhagen, Denmark; Fine Arts, and Art History, San Jose State University, Art advisor, Brussels, Belgium and Paris, France. Past advisor to: Colorado Council on the Arts, Aspen-Snowmass Council on the Arts, and the City of Aspen Art placement committee. He opened Magidson Fine Art, Aspen in 1990.

The daughter of two artists, Ingrid Magidson has been surrounded by art since childhood. Extensive travel and a love for art have added to her deep art appreciation. Ingrid moved to Aspen in 1993, began working for Magidson Fine Art. She married Jay Magidson in 1996. Since that time, she and Jay have developed Magidson Fine Art into a gallery known throughout the west for its integrity and quality. Respected by collectors and peers alike, Magidson Fine Art leads the way into the 21st century.
